Bio of the organizers:

Dr. Liu Leyuan is a professor and Ph.D. advisor at the National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning and the National Engineering Research Center for Educational Big Data, Central China Normal University. His research interests include computer vision, AI+Education, educational metaverse, and educational big data. He has presided over more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key Research and Development Program, and the Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province. He has published more than 70 papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and Acta Automatica Sinica, as well as at top-tier AI conferences such as CVPR and ECCV. He has won one first prize of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, two second prizes of Hubei Provincial Outstanding Achievement Award in Social Sciences, and one first prize of Hubei Provincial Outstanding Paper Award in Natural Sciences.

 


Dr. Yantao Wei is a Professor and Guizi Young Scholar at Central China Normal University. He is also the Deputy Director of the Hubei Key Laboratory of Digital Education and the Key Laboratory of Adolescent Cyberpsychology and Behavior, Ministry of Education. His research focuses on learning analytics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. He has led more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and the Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province. He has been awarded the First Prize of Hubei Provincial Natural Science Award and the Technology Innovation Award from the China Electronics Video Industry Association. He has published more than 50 academic papers in international journals and conferences, including Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Neurocomputing, and Infrared Physics & Technology. Two of his papers have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He has applied for seven invention patents and more than ten software copyrights. He has served multiple times as Chair of the sub-conferences of the Global Chinese Computer Education Conference (GCCCE) and as an area chair of the ICIP.
